What this document establishes

SAL Economy OS v1.0 proposes a consciousness-based economic operating system. It is designed to move beyond unstable material-civilization economic models toward a system grounded in measurable consciousness metrics, behavioral alignment, governance logic, public infrastructure, and civilizational coherence.

The document redefines the foundational resource of civilization from material scarcity to consciousness coherence, using the metrics OE, RE, EE, VCE, CRI, and CFI as candidate conceptual foundations for value creation, distribution, incentive design, and governance.

Why this matters

Why SAL Economy OS exists

Material-centered economic systems can generate wealth while also generating inequality, extraction, volatility, social distrust, and institutional fragility.

SAL Economy OS responds by redefining economic value itself. Instead of anchoring value only in scarcity, ownership, extraction, and transaction volume, it asks whether economic systems can be redesigned around measurable coherence, relational stability, social trust, contribution quality, and reduction of entropic instability.

In this architecture, the economy is no longer evaluated only by production and consumption, but by whether it stabilizes or destabilizes the conscious field of civilization.

What the economic layer is built on

1. Consciousness as substrate

SAL is grounded in OE, RE, EE and the higher-order indices VCE, CRI, and CFI as civilizational variables rather than decorative concepts.

2. Measurement layer

The economic layer conceptually depends on future measurement infrastructure, including CAIS and Sal-Meter. Current Sal-Meter work remains research-stage, pre-device, and pre-certification.

3. Incentive redesign

The model asks whether contribution, relational ethics, creativity, stabilization, and reduction of EE can become structurally rewarded.

4. Governance integration

The economic layer is designed to interoperate with AI governance, institutional design, CCF, COS, and broader civilizational operating systems.

What the economic model is trying to change

SAL Economy OS is not merely a payment model. It is a proposed redesign of the economic incentive field. The question is whether an economy can reward coherence, contribution, trust, health of the social field, and reduction of destructive entropy rather than only extraction and accumulation.

Value basis

From scarcity and extraction toward coherence, contribution, regeneration, and relational stability.

SAL Economy OS may eventually require measurement and benchmark infrastructure. But that does not mean Sal-Meter is already validated, that proxy benchmark signals are economic settlement data, or that GitHub repositories are infrastructure authority. The paths must remain clean.
