This page is the public operational bridge between canonical doctrine and current movement. It clarifies where the program stands now, what can be prepared now, and what should not be publicly overstated.
The current public operating model is kernel-first, reproducibility-first, pre-opening. Broader opening is downstream and becomes justifiable only after prior technical and validation locks are satisfied.
The Sal-Meter / CAIS initiative should presently be understood as a structured validation sequence, not as an already-open external competition ecosystem.

Research-stage
The program is presently in a kernel-first research stage.
지금은 구현을 무제한으로 여는 단계가 아니라, 커널을 먼저 검증하는 단계입니다.
Pre-opening
Public language should describe the program as pre-opening, not as fully open external competition.
Non-diagnostic / Non-therapeutic
Current work remains non-diagnostic and non-therapeutic within the public research boundary.
Reproducibility-first · Anti-capture
The program is governance-constrained, reproducibility-first, and anti-capture by design.
No public competition is active in the present tense. What is active now is a kernel-first validation program with readiness, helper materials, and pre-opening preparation surfaces.
Current execution order / 현재 고정된 실행 순서
The program should be read through its execution order, not through old “competition already active” language.
External Layer-0
Initial electrochemical feasibility and interface sensitivity work under controlled conditions.
SICS Internal Phase 0
G-axis first-stage state-separability testing under fixed baseline and SOP logic.
Phase 1
I-channel reproducibility fixation and single-channel stability confirmation.
Phase 2a
Twin Mini-Cell structural separation and cross-talk control.
Phase 2b
Human pilot with G + I combined sessions under fixed package architecture.
LOCK 1 / LOCK 2
Interface Exists / Interface Matters. The structure must become experimentally and operationally defensible.
SDK / Future Broader Opening
Broader opening becomes serious only after prior technical and validation locks are satisfied.
Any helper text, snapshot, README, or older public wording that collapses these stages into “the competition is fully open now” should be treated as legacy language and updated.
What is open now / 지금 실제로 열려 있는 것
PI / laboratory readiness
Principal investigators and laboratories can assess fit, capability, timing, and governance discipline now.
Reading the canonical boundary
Teams can and should read the canonical definition, compliance boundary, negative definition, and broader-opening governance documents now.
Internal technical feasibility review
Labs can review whether they can own Layer-0, Phase 0, or a later protocol-aligned module.
Public helper surfaces
PI Readiness, PI Quick, System Overview, Technical Snapshot, and Minimal Kernel surfaces can be used for orientation and early discussion.
Governance-aware observation
Serious collaborators can watch the kernel program with informed, non-naive attention rather than waiting for a mass announcement.
Korean research team fit review
국내 팀은 장비, SOP, 인력, 데이터 처리 가능성을 내부적으로 점검하고, 공개 언어를 과장 없이 맞출 수 있는지를 먼저 보시면 됩니다.
What is not open now / 지금 아직 열려 있지 않은 것
No already-active public competition
The current program should not be described as an already-open external competition ecosystem.
No clinical or therapeutic framing
Public language should not imply clinical diagnostic status, therapeutic platform status, or consumer-device legitimacy.
No premature certification claims
Prototype existence alone does not justify compliance, designation, certification, or mark-usage claims.
No public overstatement of participation standing
Teams should not imply open participation standing or designation rights that have not been canonically justified.

Relevant Korean teams
Electrochemistry, aptamer, redox chemistry, signal processing, machine learning, systems engineering, neuroscience, anesthesiology, cognitive science, and related labs are all within the natural readiness audience.
국내 전기화학, 압타머, 적산화환원, 신호처리, ML, 시스템 엔지니어링, 신경과학, 마취, 인지과학 팀이라면 충분히 관심을 가질 만한 구조입니다.
Three practical questions
- 우리 팀이 실제로 맡을 수 있는 layer가 하나라도 있는가?

Electrochemical Systems Lead
Responsible for measurement, electrode, cartridge, device, and SOP consistency at the electrochemical systems layer.
Evidence & Standardization Lead
Responsible for schema, QC, evaluation integrity, leakage prevention, and standardization consistency.
What a serious lab can do now / 지금 진지한 연구실이 할 수 있는 일
- Read the canonical boundary documents first.
- Review whether existing equipment and staff could support Layer-0, Phase 0, or protocol-aligned future work.
- Identify whether the lab is strongest in chemistry, hardware, signal processing, statistics, state protocol design, validation architecture, or governed interpretation.
- Prepare internal SOP thinking, role mapping, and collaboration strategy.
- Keep public language disciplined and avoid premature claims.
